So today I've been reading and learning all about some of the considerations, requirements and expectations of destination weddings and destination wedding planners!
If you could plan a destination in ANY country in the world where would it be? Please, drop your thoughts in the comment box so I can practise thinking about and researching what I might be required to do as a planner! Even if you aren't engaged, or planning on getting married, just send through your thoughts!
There is A LOT to be considered, as I'm sure you can possibly imagine! Imagine planning for the most amazing international holiday of someones life THEN throwing on top of that, the expectations of planning the most important and memorable day of their life... their wedding day! What a job! Sounds like a dream job to me - minus all the stresses and pitfalls! ;-)
Anyway, I can share with you the KEY PRINCIPLE... with just one song, the song that was going over and over and over and over in my head the entire time I was listening, reading, watching and learning! I challenge you to not hum this or sing it afterwards! Hmm... I wonder if you will guess what one thing (ONE OF MANY), you need to do when planning for any wedding, not just an international one! A little hint: Scar from the Lion King is also great at this... well he thought he was anyway! Enjoy!
